Decoration of The suite in "Caïdale" tent
From their many trips to West Africa, Claudie and Bernard brought back a multitude of fabrics and handicrafts. Claudie harmonized them with great taste and appropriateness with the crafts of Marrakech and Morocco and used it for the decoration of the Villa Riad and the Berber tent suite "Africa", beautiful and unusual Bed and Breakfast !!!
The Bogolan, originally from Mali, was used to make the headboards and armchairs of the living room. The raffia, woven with the Batéké of Middle Congo, served to the dressmaker for the "Pilot de lit". The "African batik", a large fabric printed using a special "dipping" technique using wax and various dye baths of different colors, was used by the upholsterer to finalize the screen. The carpets and bed rails were woven by Berber women. The workshops can be found in the valley of Ourika near Marrakech or in the mountains south of Beni Melal
